Do I need any experience to take an eFoil lesson?
No. 99.8% of our first-time riders stand up and fly on their first lesson. Our coaches start you on a low-speed learning mode and walk you through each step from the dock.
Where are lessons and rentals held on Lake Tahoe?
We launch from calm-water spots on the North Lake Tahoe / Truckee side, including Kings Beach and Tahoe City. Exact location is confirmed at booking based on wind and water conditions.
How much does an eFoil lesson cost in Tahoe?
Solo lessons start around $300 for a 90-minute private session including the board, foil, battery, helmet, and impact vest. Duo and group rates are available — see the Book page for current pricing.
Can I rent an eFoil without a lesson?
Rentals require either a completed lesson with us or proof of prior eFoil experience. The boards are powerful — we want every rider safe and confident before going solo.
What's the age and weight limit?
Riders 12 and up, roughly 80–260 lbs, can ride a Waydoo EVO. Minors need a parent or guardian to sign the waiver.
Do you sell Waydoo eFoils?
Yes — we're an authorized Waydoo dealer for the full Flyer EVO lineup (Lite, Max Plus, Pro Plus, Master Plus). 100% of your lesson fee can be applied toward a board purchase.
